​The South Poinsettia Park neighborhood spans 19 streets nestled between Sarasota Memorial Hospital, US-41 and Siesta Key, completely within Sarasota's city limits. It is bordered on the north by Hyde Park Street, the east by US-41 (Tamiami Trail), the south by Jasmine Drive and the west by Osprey Avenue. Last count in early 2024 listed 380 residences and about 50 businesses. See our About Us page for a map, more pictures and information.

Funding for the South Poinsettia Park Neighborhood Association is collected solely from the donations of residents, local businesses and City of Sarasota grants.
​These funds are solely used to benefit the residents of our neighborhood.

  • ​Foster the improvement and preservation of the South Poinsettia Park neighborhood
  • Create a high quality of life for all residents by building a sense of community,
  • Educate residents about the decisions and decision-making processes of our local government, and
  • Work towards greater neighborhood involvement and influence on city issues that affect the quality of life in the South Poinsettia Park neighborhood.
