New City Manager Chosen
Karie Friling will be our next City Manager. First official day on the job is May 29.
Watering limited to once per week
The Southwest Florida Water Management District is asking residents to limit outdoor watering to one day per week, watering hours reduced. Read more at WaterMatters.org. At the March 23, 2026 Sarasota City Commission Meeting, commissioners unanimously approved reducing speed limits from 25 mph to 20 mph on most local residential roads based on a recent traffic study.

“Slow Down” signs have been placed around our neighborhood. A Traffic Calming City outreach program was conducted on March 18 attended by many in our neighborhood.
New Sign has been ordered for the intersection of Osprey & Hyde park, previously destroyed by a careless driver. To be installed soon!!
