South Poinsettia Point has been named a winner of the prestigious Sarasota Historical Preservation Society 2026 Heritage Award. This award is given to local organizations that exemplify Historic Preservation in our Community. Many thanks to the Centennial Committee Members who worked very hard to make this the success that it was.

454 people including residents and local neighbors attended SPPNA's Centennial Historic Home Tour.

March 2nd was certainly a day to remember thanks to the SPPNA Events Committee who worked for many months to organize this affair and to all the dedicated member residents for volunteering their invaluable time! And a special thanks to our neighbors who graciously opened their historic homes for viewing.

"That 100th birthday event was as imaginatively conceived, visually stunning, and professionally managed as any such event we've attended. Enlisting the historical society, the classic car club and enthusiastic volunteers were great moves. The printed material was likewise very professional.
