The South Poinsettia Park neighborhood is completely within the city limits of the City of Sarasota. The neighborhood spans 19 streets. Its northern border is Hyde Park Street, just south of Sarasota Memorial Hospital. The neighborhood's southern border is Jasmine Drive, including the properties on the south side of Jasmine Drive. This is just two blocks south of Siesta Drive, which leads to Siesta Key. The eastern border is Tamiami Trail (US-41) and the western border is Osprey Avenue. Last count in early 2024 listed 380 residences and approximately 50 businesses. More information about the neighborhood is available on our About Us Page.

- Foster the improvement and preservation of the South Poinsettia Park neighborhood
- Create a high quality of life for all residents by building a sense of community,
- Educate residents about the decisions and decision-making processes of our local government, and
- Work towards greater neighborhood involvement and influence on city issues that affect the quality of life in the South Poinsettia Park neighborhood.
